Jamor “Li Yac” Jones, Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Assumption Community Hospital in Napoleonville, Louisiana. He was **18 years old** and a lifelong **native and resident of Napoleonville**, whose life, though brief, left a deep and lasting impact on all who knew him.

Jamor was known by family and friends for his vibrant spirit, warm heart, and the joy he brought into every room he entered. Affectionately called “Li Yac,” he was deeply loved and cherished, especially by his close-knit family and wide circle of friends. His passing has brought profound sorrow to the Napoleonville community, which continues to rally around his loved ones in support and remembrance.
Family and friends will gather to honor Jamor’s life during **visitation on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.** at **Williams & Southall Funeral Home**. A second visitation will be held on **Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Paul Baptist Church**, beginning at **8:00 a.m.**, followed by **religious services at 9:00 a.m.** Interment will take place at **Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery**, where Jamor will be laid to rest.
Jamor is survived by his loving parents, **Sequitta Washington and **Jamor Jones, Sr.**; his siblings, **Jamir Jones** and **Jalaya Jones**; maternal grandparents **Angela Joseph (James)** and **Darrel Ratcliff**; and paternal grandparents **Angela Jones**, **Perry Muse**, and **Rev. David Gilton (Twala)**. He also leaves behind special cousins **Nehemiah Gilton, Darrion Worley, Keyamontre Bell, Dajon Gustave, Khalil Cooks, and Treyon Richard**; uncles **Dwayne Washington, Tristian Cheatham, Ronaldo Gilton, Davon Gilton, Sr. (Jerisha), Jared Muse, and Perry Muse, Jr.**; and his godparents **Cheryl Ratcliff, Gwen Cannon, Eugene Buggage, and Donquell Ratcliff**. In addition, he is survived by a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents **Ruth McBride; Ralph and Jane Washington; Willard and Clara Ratcliff**; and paternal great-grandparents **Barbara and Vernal Jones, Sr.; Samuel Muse; Edith Cola; Fannie Mae Gilton; and Rev. Harry Gilton**.
