Memphis Community on Alert After Disappearance of 12-Year-Old Javari Armour

Memphis authorities and community members are urgently searching for 12-year-old Javari Armour, who was reported missing Monday afternoon. Javari, who has autism, was last seen around 4:15 p.m. traveling westbound toward McCorkle Road, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Police describe Javari as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a gold polo uniform shirt, black joggers, and black shoes.
MPD says officers are actively investigating and asking the public for help locating the missing child. Due to Javari’s age and diagnosis, authorities are emphasizing the urgency of the situation and encouraging residents to remain vigilant.
Family members and community advocates are also pleading for assistance, urging anyone who may have seen Javari or has information about his whereabouts to come forward immediately.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 right away.
