A multi-car accident unfolded this evening at the BP Gas Station in the 10000 block of Halls Ferry Road after a violent multi-car crash left two vehicles damaged and multiple witnesses shocked including parents whose children were inside the impacted vehicles.

According to witnesses on the scene, a grey car came speeding into the lot and slammed into a white vehicle with such force that it pushed the car two to three spaces forward. A child was reportedly inside the white vehicle at the time, while the mother had briefly stepped inside the store.
Several people, including the store owner and a woman believed to be the child’s mother, rushed out and confronted the driver of the grey car, demanding that he and his passenger get out. That’s when things escalated.
Instead of stopping, the driver of the grey vehicle allegedly threw the car in reverse in an attempt to flee the scene and crashed directly into a parked black truck that also had a child sitting in the passenger seat. One of the men inside the grey vehicle reportedly jumped out quickly, appeared confused, dumped out a beer he was holding, and left the scene.
No injuries were reported at this time, but the incident is under investigation. Drivers need to slow down and think twice, especially around families.
