Eva “Arlene” Adams, age 89, of Knobley Road in Keyser, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at her granddaughter’s residence in Charlottesville, Virginia, while under the compassionate care of Gentiva Hospice. Surrounded by family and love, Arlene’s passing marked the end of a long life devoted to family, kindness, and quiet strength.

Born on October 6, 1936, in Hardy County, West Virginia, Arlene was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson and Bessie Mae Adams. She spent most of her life in West Virginia, where she built deep roots in her community and was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.
